Today started at 4:30 am EST. Then I spent the morning flying from Dayton to LA with a brief layover in Chicago. While I was sitting in my seat on these planes I actually went back in time :) I arrived in what I thought would be sunny California, well let me tell you its NOT SUNNY. I arrived at the ranch in a heavy downpour. Not a fun trip.... falling tree limbs, rock slides, flooding, and to top it off our driver kept trying to fall asleep.
I am here, checked in and excited. First I checked in and got my guest notebook and then I opted to go to my room first and then come back and get weighed and measure. That was so much fun, but atleast I know when I weigh in again the numbers will be smaller, atleast they better be. Then we had a small "class" with Essara telling us briefly about things and then I went down and booked my spa treatments. I am having a swedish massage on both Tuesdays and a stone massage on both Fridays. I also booked some sessions witht the life coach (Essara) Honey you might want to see if you can work overtime :) Then I came back to my room and unpacked everything and got situated. Talked to my beautiful kids, my wonderful husband, and my still sane parents. I want to thank my husband and my parents because if it wasn't for them I would not have been able to go on this journey. I appreciate and love all of you more then you will ever know.
Then it was dinner time and let me tell you it was really good. We had white bean chili, green beans, and a chicken breast. Then we had key lime pie for desert. It was really good and surprisingly made with tofu and grapenuts. After dinner we had our new guest orientation. And now I am back in my room and getting ready for bed. I didn't take any pictures today (I forgot my camera and it was raining) but I will take plenty tomorrow. It is now 7:40 PT (10:40 EST) and I am exhausted. Tomorrow is a big day :)
